The individual presentation of the textures, tastes and smells creates a mixture of different notes. The interactive and sensory experience allows the drinker to taste the different dimensions of the XO Cognac and creates an appreciation and deep understanding of the rich palette of taste. The goal of the tasting, according to Rémy Martin, is to inspire a new generation of cognac lovers, through education, interactivity and a personal discovery.
On 18 January 2019, the Amstel Hotel presents the Opulence Revealed for a limited number of guests, led by international Rémy Martin brand ambassador Chian Mei Gan. As a special addition, chef Roger Rassin, of restaurant La Rive, will prepare 3 small courses that harmoniously unite the iconic hotel with the tasting. The Amstel Hotel has previously invited several industry experts for the "Meet the Maker" series in the A Bar. Past sessions have included Bols, Glenfiddich, Rutte Distillery, Chivas Regal & The Macallan.
