With the sun on your skin and the sound of the Amstel River in the background, can you imagine a better place to enjoy your favorite drink than on the terraces of the Amstel Hotel? After sunset, enjoy long summer evenings outside or join us inside, in one of Amsterdam’s best-kept secrets…
The Amstel Bar offers guests endless possibilities of enjoying contemporary hospitality. We love to welcome you for a fine cocktail after work, or for a fun get-together over leisurely drinks. Our bar bites menu includes some of your favorite snacks, with a Dutch twist on ‘the classics’. During the day, guests are welcome in our Amstel Lounge for a quick coffee or a nice glass of wine. In the evening, the Amstel Lounge serves as an extension of the Amstel Bar.
With a modern approach to the homely style of the Amstel Hotel and the Amstel Restaurant, the Amstel Bar is the perfect solution for those who wish for a contemporary luxury experience. Located in the city center of Amsterdam, the Amstel Bar is the ideal meeting location for local friends, as well as for international guests. We also happily serve you a quick coffee prior to your visit to theatre Carré, or a delightful glass of wine after.
The Amstel Bar, with a possible extension to our Amstel Lounge, can host up to 36 covers per time slot, with an additional 40 covers on the terrace. Whilst maintaining a warm ambiance, all tables have been set up with respect to the 1,5-meter distance regulations.
