Station Weesperplein is only 300m away from the hotel and gives access to the underground and tram system. The restaurant is situated along the banks of the Amstel river and has its own quay for guests that arrive with a boat.

Amsterdam Central station is 3 km north of the Amstel Hotel. A taxi from the station to the hotel will cost approximately €15. A train train ticket to the airport will cost you approximately €5 and will take 15 minutes. Single train tickets straight from Schiphol to Amsterdam can also be booked via Discover Holland in advance to prevent waiting lines. The closest metro station is Weesperplein, 300 meters from the hotel.
Take tram number 4 from Central Station and get off at Frederiksplein. Turn left on Sarphatistraat and walk over the bridge to the hotel – it's about 400 metres from the tram stop.
Alternatively, you can take the metro from Central Station. All lines stop at Weesperplein, where you should descend. Follow the signs to the exit to Amstel/Sarphatistraat and take the stairs or escalator to street level. Walk straight ahead onto Sarphatistraat and you'll see the hotel on your left hand side after about 100 metres. Single-day travel cards for public transport are available at our concierge.
