Riverside elegance and award-winning cuisine at La Rive
Culinary mastery and impeccable service place the Michelin-rated La Rive in a class by itself. An exquisite fusion of French and Mediterranean cuisines, La Rive enraptures the palate with unexpected flavours and flawless preparation. Each dish strikes a tantalising balance of delicate and delectable, from Label Rouge Salmon with oyster, almond, balsamic vinegar and garlic, to venison with apricot, cruesli and mushrooms.
Under the accomplished leadership of Chef de Cuisine Rogér Rassin, sommelier Ted Bunnik and restaurant manager Ronald Opten, La Rive was voted the best restaurant in Amsterdam by the 2013 Lekker Restaurant Guide, and is a member of the culinary association Alliance Gastronomique. The exceptional wine cellar, extensive wine list and specially designed porcelain and silver add to the Michelin star mystique.
We created two special menus which we plan to change every eight to ten weeks, according to the season. La Rive Gauche is a tasting of Executive Chef Rogér Rassin’s signature dishes. La Rive Droite is a tasting of new dishes, especially inspired by the season and market availability.
You can pair these menus with our Wine Experience or choose from the two extensive wine lists supervised by Maître-Sommelier Ronald Opten, Sommelier Ted Bunnik and Assistant Sommelier Hans van Schaik.
The Wine Room offers private dining from 8 up to 16 guests. For a truly unique experience, guests are able to reserve the exclusive Chef’s Table for 4 up to 8 people.

Sunday: 17:00 – 21:00 hours
La Rive will be closed from the 1st of January till the 21st of January.
During summer La Rive will be opened every day.
